INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY WASHINGTON DC - March 26-31, 2026

In March 2026, Africa Femmes Performantes will gather women leaders, innovators, and changemakers from around the world in Washington, DC for a historic International Women’s Day Conference. For six days, participants will engage in high‑level dialogues, leadership workshops, cultural celebrations, and strategic networking designed to elevate women’s voices on the global stage. This edition marks a new chapter in our mission — uniting nations, strengthening Afro descendant identity, and preparing women to lead with vision, resilience, and impact.

MICIC Launching Program-March 27, 2026

On March 27, 2026, we will officially launch the International Movement for the Construction of Collective Identities (MICIC) during a special ceremonial session of our International Women’s Day Conference in Washington, DC. This historic moment marks the emergence of a global platform dedicated to strengthening collective identity, affirming cultural heritage, and promoting unity among communities across continents.

The launch of MICIC brings together leaders, scholars, cultural ambassadors, and partners committed to building a shared future rooted in dignity, visibility, and collaboration. It is the beginning of a movement that recognizes the power of identity as a foundation for empowerment, development, and global solidarity.
