3RD INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR THE RETURN OF AFRO-DESCENDANTS
Limbe, Douala, and Yaoundé, Cameroon | July 10–20, 2027

Held during the Second International Decade for People of African Descent, the Congress will bring together Afro-descendants, African communities, and partner organizations to advance dialogue and reconnection. Its program will address reparatory justice, cultural heritage, cooperation, and unity, while creating space for partnerships between the diaspora and the African continent.

Reflecting priorities raised in the work of the UN Permanent Forum on People of African Descent, the Congress will connect dialogue with cultural, heritage, and institutional activities across Limbe, Douala, and Yaoundé.

Program flow: Reconnection and heritage → dialogue on reparatory justice and diaspora participation → cultural and institutional activities → partnerships for cooperation and unity.
